Gaynor first came to us believing she never suited glasses.

But it wasn’t that she didn’t suit them… she’d just never found the right ones for her.

Most of what she’d tried in the past were too dark, too heavy, too bright, or too classic. None of which really reflected who she is.

Gaynor has light, delicate colouring, and a naturally feminine style, with a love of pretty detailing and a little drama!

So we knew we had to keep the lightness in the colour… but we could bring in the drama through the detail. And for Gaynor, that detail had to be sparkle- and lots of it!

These limited edition, handmade Francis Klein frames were seemingly made just for her.

Colours worn close to the face have the biggest impact on your overall look.

Glasses and lipstick that work in harmony with your natural colouring can make your skin appear clearer and fresher, your eyes brighter, and your jaw more defined. When the colour is right, everything just looks more balanced and effortless.

Less flattering colours can have the opposite effect, making the skin and eyes appear dull, highlighting blemishes, and reducing definition.

This is something I see every single day.

Many optical professionals lack training in colour and style, but I truly believe your glasses should do more than give you optimum vision… they should give you confidence in the way you look too.

Most people don’t fit into an exact face shape, but small details like this can make a real difference to how your glasses look.

If your face tapers inwards from the temples to the cheeks, a frame that follows your natural contour will prevent it from looking oversized, while also helping to slim and define your face.
