Its been a busy week at Lenthall from nail pampering its a must! Fabulous nails are the best, having a movie morning singing along to movie choice oklahoma! Of course the weekly bingo! A visit from the pre school, some arts and crafts where one resident made a beautiful flower for a fellow resident, then we had a game of play your cards right! Blast from the past Bruce Forsyth! Which went down really well! And today we have Paul's Birthday 🎂, good week had at Lenthall house 🏠

Today at Lenthall house we spent time in the dining room enjoying a baking activity where we made mini Victoria sponge cakes. The atmosphere was warm and engaging, with residents taking part in mixing ingredients, decorating the cakes with jam and cream. The activity encouraged social interaction, creativity, and a sense of achievement, with everyone taking pride in their individual creations. The smell of freshly baked cakes filled the space, adding to the comforting environment. Residents appeared relaxed and happy throughout, and the session ended with everyone enjoying their mini Victoria sponges together.

This week at Lenthall we have been to the garden centre in wistow, played some Bingo! The nursery children have been to visit, had nails painted, and today we built a game of the grand national, making dices and colouring and naming our horses! Good week had at Lenthall so far!

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Wistow Rural Centre this morning. The sun was shining as we browsed the stalls, plants and tucked into a coffee and cake.
The model village was one of the highlights of the trip and it was fascinating looking at the tiny houses and railway. The residents returned to Lenthall revitalized and excited about the things they bought. ☺️☺️

Monday we tried Mandala designs using stickers and card, kindly donated, the residents had lots of fun, designing these and displaying in their rooms, then we had Bingo and chats, today was a pamper day, we had nails painted 💅 and filed and trimmed with music in the background finished with nice smelling creams and hand massages. Good day had.
