We were thrilled to welcome pupils from Market Harborough C of E Academy who delighted us with not one, but two fantastic performances!

We were treated to a well-organised and engaging play that brought to life the inspiring stories of Rosa Parks and Emily Davison. The performances were thoughtful, powerful, and clearly the result of hard work and dedication.

Afterwards, we had the pleasure of chatting with the students and getting to know each other! We had a fabulous time! 💜

As part of our Fixer Uppers Campaign, we were delighted to welcome the wonderful children from Market Harborough C of E Academy to spend a creative and heartwarming day with our residents.

Together, they built and painted birdboxes, bringing colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles to our garden. Some of our existing birdboxes also got a fresh coat of paint, giving them a vibrant new lease of life!

This special event was held in the run-up to International DIY Day on 18th October, as we encouraged our residents to show off their DIY skills and share their knowledge with the younger generation. It was a lovely way to bring people together, spark conversation, and inspire teamwork across generations. ❤️

Our ironically named “Tiny Board” is getting a lot more love lately! 👀🧩

As our eyesight isn’t quite what it used to be, having a big screen to display music lyrics, word searches, and quizzes has made a big difference and we’re loving it!

Even better? It’s on wheels, so we can roll it wherever it’s needed 💙
