It wasn't to be for Road Exile in the Gr2, Moscow Flyer Novices' hurdle at Punchestown today, after a tactical and slow run race. But Blacktype nevertheless, for a second place behind the smart 'Sober'. And a nice update for this athletic filly's page 👌

Yesterday, Road Exile (Harzand) was led out unsold at £95,000 when failing to meet his reserve at Tattersalls Cheltenham. A winner of his 4yo Maiden point at the first time of asking, and from the family of Joncol, he is clearly held in high regard. His half sister, by Walk In The Park, is currently in foal to Planteur. The Planteur - WITP cross has already produced the talented staying chaser, 'Gran Diose' (Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, Gr.1). Let us hope these great staying, athletic, jumping genes continue!
