It was lovely to have Smithy from into the clinic today! π€
It's been a good few months since Thailand, so it was nice to get some more dates in the diary for upcoming matches ππ
Yesterday saw us pitch up to provide some much needed recovery massage for another .cc gravel cycling festival π the festival saw riders take on one of three challenging routes;
πThe jester - 82k and 1100ft of elevation,
πΌ The rebel - 137km and 1500ft of elevation,
π¦The bastard - 220km and 2700ft of elevation
It's safe to say these routes are tough at the best of times, but add in the blazing sun and scorching temperatures, and it was a hard day out!
Congratulations to all the riders who took part, and a big thank you to the wonderful , , and for joining me π§‘
Due to a last minute cancellation, I have a 5pm appointment available today in Warwick. You can book direct through through website or drop me a message but be quick! This won't stay open for long π¨
I'm finally back from a fantastic week in Thailand with the amazing πΉπ
We went out to raise a bit of money for charity, hopefully win a few games, and generally have a laugh and we ticked all the boxes and more. Mens plate winners, vets cup winners, we got to help out at a wonderful special needs school, we played rugby in absolutely torrential rain in mud I haven't seen as bad for years, got sunburned, found multiple animals to pet, almost the entire squad got taken out by gastroenteritis at some point during the trip, and though we're waiting for the final figures, we've raised almost Β£2k for our UK charities π€
Ill be back in clinic from tomorrow, although I am fully booked for the next two weeks. Any cancellations will be posted on here but if you check out the website, you'll be able to see all my availability on there βοΈ
was set up to support children with special needs, and those struggling with mental health. Yes, we're here to play in the 11s tournament at the weekend, but today was all about supporting Phuket Panyanakul School and their 290 students with special/additional needs. We donated over 300 sets of underwear and 14 industrial bug zappers, as well as gifted them pens, badges, and stickers which the kids seemed to love!
The children live here for 3 months at a time, with a month at home afterwards, and they come from all over Phuket and other areas of south Thailand.
It was the sweetest day, and we apparently got adopted by this little boy who got quite upset when we were leaving! My heart is full π€ I'm so glad I got to play a part in supporting this! π

Last weekend saw the 120th anniversary of v .rugby π
This year, it was their turn to travel to us. It didn't start too well when one of the SCUF players dislocated his shoulder within the first minute, and we discovered just how poor my french speaking actually was π¬ A hard fought game resulted in a 13-36 win to the tourists, but that didn't stop the drinks from flowing on both sides Saturday night! π»
We look forward to travelling to Paris again next year to try and reclaim the Rose Cup and bring her back home!

A great weekend of rugby π
An away win with against Old Hales, a brilliant second development day with giving us our final squad of 23, and a bit of six nations thrown in for good measure!
(Cont.) It marks another year within rugby, continuing on with , , , and midlands u18s. I've got to go on some great trips outside of work and explore more of the peaks and the lakes and get back into climbing again, alongside getting to play touch rugby with the most amazing bunch of women
In all, it's been a fantastic year, and I wouldn't be where I am without the support of all my lovely clients, colleagues, friends, and family, so thank you all π€
Heres to 2025 π₯π

2024, what a year! π«
It's been a busy one. I've had the privilege of treating hundreds of clients this year, a year that marks a whole decade in the business doing the job I love. My own little clinic turned five, we moved our second premesis to the wonderful where I get to work alongside some other incredible therapists, and I got to support some brilliant athletes at a multitude of events at home and abroad....

My name is Bethan Timmins and I founded Timmins Health & Performance in 2019 after working in the Sports Therapy industry for over 5 years. I specialise in sports and occupational injuries, rehabilitating my clients back to their best, and pushing them further. I have worked in both a clinical and sporting setting since graduating Coventry University in 2014, and have never known anything different.
My Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy, Level 5 Dry Needling, Sports Trauma Management, Wound Management and Suturing, Combined Taping Techniques - including Kinesiology tape and rigid tape, Dynamic Tape, RockBlades IASTM, and I am also a qualified First Aid for Sports and Exercise 1 (FASE1) instructor for Lubas Medical.
My clinical work has allowed me to treat people from a variety of different backgrounds and occupations, including elite athletes, amateur sportsmen, labourers, office workers, the elderly, school children, and everything in between. In sport, I completed my university placement with Coventry University Rugby League and have stuck with rugby ever since. I have previously worked with Coventry RFC, Coventry Bears RL, Rugby Lions RFC, Leicestershire RFU, Coventry Dragons RL, and many more. I am currently Lead Therapist for Warwickshire RFU, Head Therapist at Stratford-upon-Avon RFC, and I also work for Leamington Royals RL.
My years in the industry with different teams and treating different people means that I can draw from these experiences to ensure I am giving my clients the appropriate care and treatment that they need. I love my job and Iβm passionate about helping people return to sport and activity as I know from personal experience how awful injury can be. I am currently working towards my REPS Level 3 Personal Training Qualification so I can take my clients even further.
If you have an injury, whether you play sport or not, please reach out and Iβll do my very best to help.
