Please read.

With the news that has recently come to light about the VBOA running their annual event at a new venue, we would like to announce that whilst we feel the support is out there for another Vauxhall show, we feel it unfair to all involved if we were to offer a rival show on a different date.

We would like to thank everybody for their support over the last few weeks, and also those people that supported the event over the last couple of years.

For 2019 we will concentrate our efforts on new horizons.
We wish the VBOA all the best for the future, and all the best to Vauxfest at Billing Aquadrome.

Sorry for the late reply the late post, I have been away for a few days.
Mick emailed me the outcome of the VBOAs decision to go back to Billing for 2019.
Apparently it was the reps decision to go back to Northampton, although it does appear from what I have read that not all the reps were aware of a meeting taking place at all.
Just for the record theVBOA have earned more money for themselves and raised more money for charities than they have ever done in 12 years sine the rally has been held at MH.
We had just 2 years at a new venue our first year was a BRAND NEW experience for us yes we made mistakes we listened to your views, and we made amendments some we got wrong but many I believe and have been told we got MANY right.
I’m surprised that Billing was an option that was on the table some of the reviews I have read on their website about the place make your toes curl.
I really don’t want to get political, but a couple have posts have mentioned Brexit and I’m not sure that the country made the correct decision there as well ( I can hear the feathers being ruffled)
It’s a shame some of the VBOA weren’t willing to work with us for at least another year to see how things improved but I guess some people weren’t willing to give us that chance. Isn’t life about trying to make things work and if they keep failing then you throw it in the bin?
I have been told we have received many emails and phone calls supporting for you that have shown this I cannot thank you enough.
I’m still away st the moment but I will be having a chat to my team about what we want to do for 2019 we may do somyhing for those of you that want to come over and raise even more money for charity. No promises but we will see.

Hi guys, Mick here. I assume that most will now of heard the decision from the VBOA next year, or found out about it on Facebook like me. Can I say a massive thanks for all the kind messages sent to me today, and thanks for your support over the last two years. Hopefully, I will catch up with you all in the not too distant future.

Well, what a warm one this weekend was, people travelled from far and wide from all over the continent to enjoy the VBOA National Rally 2018.

Whilst there was one or two hiccups the general feeling is very positive certainly from people from far a field they seemed have thought the trek was very much worth it.
I would like to thank my team for doing a fantastic job and working to the very best of there ability in the dust and the heat.
I don’t need to name them they know who they are, Good honest hardworking people.

We met some fantastic people this year and special thanks to those that joined us in the arena for a chat last night, it was very productive we are pleased that you noticed the changes.

Unfortunately the weekend was tainted a little by the people that thought it was ok to steal goods from us to make other people’s life hard,
It was also tainted by certain club members both drunk and sober that thought it would be funny to endanger other people’s lives by driving erratically in and on their clubs stands. I believe the VBOA’s policy is instant dismissal from the site, our team and security dealt with these individuals, immediately.

We are pleased people enjoyed the bands and the two fly passes we had, along with the improved layout, and improved caterers. I also thank the people that used the bus service into the town, you will be pleased to know they raised £450 !!!

We would also like to thank the person or persons that thought it funny to smear excrement on the floor and doors of one of the portaloo’s your fe**sh is somewhat to be desired, please do me and my team a favour please go and see a doctor, we believe you have mental issues.

I would like to wish the lady that broke her hip during the weekend by falling from her car whilst it was still moving, it was great to see the first aider we had on site responded immediately and a emergency vehicle responded within 15 minutes, we wish her a very speedy recovery.

Thank you to everybody that supported our charity The Glenfield Project, by purchasing the window stickers, we are having some more made as we sold out at the rally. If anyone would like one please contact us via fb.

Show update....
As you are aware England have failed to get through to the final in the World Cup however we will be showing the Final between France and Croatia on the Sunday and Third and Forth play offs on the Saturday in the Marquee by the main arena.

We are pleased to announce that we will be showing the world cup final on the Sunday afternoon.
This will take place in the marquee on the main arena for those of you that are not interested in football please dont come to the marquee in the main arena when the football is on.
We would like to wish the England football team all the best in their match tonight against Croatia, and hopefully they will make it through to the Final on Sunday against France.
