I absolutely believe as you that balancing the physical, emotional and mental states of the body and strengthening our energy fields internal and external through qigong, yoga, meditation and breathworks really helps strengthen the vital organs and our deep sense of wellbeing. This in turn helps the body to relate to external impacts that affect the body causing the dis ease within being.
Most if not all illnesses are created or impacted into the body when we are out of balance with our environment and souls aligned path.
I’m a little in that place myself right now where I am being physically challenge and not able to follow the path I was on before and yet the mind and inner fear structures are yo-yoing me around financial lack fear and also stepping into what I am meant to be here for which means stepping out of fear of being seen and aligning also with the words that come out of my mouth delivering my truth and sharing my authenticity…. That’s a truly hard path for someone who has always been a chameleon and managed to fit in where ever I am.
Never eliciting any negativity toward myself, although I probably did 🤣 and trying to understand the situations I found myself in from a metal and emotional place.
When I came to reiki it was like coming home and then working at a deeper interface with the skeleton that we work with in zero balancing and the held energies there right back to the point of the act of creation by our parents of us… (sexual act) if that didn’t make sense, it means we are so much more than we can understand and zero balancing helps us to come home to ourselves a little bit at a time.
I could probably talk on and on around my journey with self and the explorations I have ventured on to try and bring myself back home to me. It’s only in the stillness though that we can truly hear ourselves and our needs.

The human skeleton has 206 bones and approximately 360 joints. It's designed to be flexible and not rigid. The joints act as levers for movement but also as shock absorbers, so when in motion force is eased through the joints. Each joint has a certain amount of play depending on the range of motion (ROM) of that specific joint.

Over time with age or through physical, mental or emotional trauma (held tension) the joints can become restricted, less flexible, have less springiness to them, even stuck in some cases. This can cause many problems over time such as, over compensation, restricted range of movement, discomfort etc.

In Zero Balancing (Somatic therapy) we as therapists work at bone level and primarily at the intersection where bones meet at the joints. With a series of gentle stretches and fulcrums at bone level, we can help enhance range of motion within the joints, this releases the held tension that may have been held for years giving relief, physical, mental and emotional, and help correct some of the built up stress and tension that we have carried.

If you are overwhelmed, overworked, chronically stressed, anxious, suffering from insomnia, it could be your fight or filght response (Sympathetic nervous system) won't switch off.
