Thyme- one of the key herbs our Medical Herbalist Ginny Kemp uses in her cough/cold remedy mixes, for patients with chronic respiratory conditions, stubborn sinuses and even digestive issues (it is a carminative and spasmolytic so can be useful for IBS/dysbiosis). We so appreciate you taking the time to come along, and help us to work towards improving the care and support services available to cancer patients in Leicestershire. Watch this space for more collaborations and next steps with the Medical Forum. Xx

Join us for a glass of Prosecco, and a look at products services, therapies that are available throughout and following your treatment.

If you or any friends and family you know are going through or been through breast cancer, please come along. Your voice is so important and Glenfield Hospital want to know what we as a community need to improve the after care service they provide. It’s such an amazing place doing great work and they want to do more with our input! What an opportunity to be heard by the NHS and make changes for the better!

An event to help breast cancer survivors restore self-confidence after challenging treatments is taking place in Harborough next weekend.

A few more days until our breast cancer event at the Manor (Saturday 9th 2-4).

It’s a drop in and chat session with Prosecco and cake ( who doesn’t love that) open to women going through or post-cancer who can meet an array of therapists and lingerie specialists in a casual, one to one situation. It’s an informal gathering where women can feel free to ask for advice and share experiences in a private, supportive environment.

We now have the lovely Mary Thornton offering acupuncture at The Wellness Rooms ✨

Hello! Are you struggling with physical and/or mental health symptoms or simply not feeling yourself? Have you ever considered Acupuncture?

I’m Mary, a student in my final year of a degree-level course in traditional Five Element Acupuncture and am currently taking on new patients at a discounted rate during my final six months of study.

You can visit your acupuncturist for many of the same reasons you might see your GP, plus it is excellent for general wellbeing.

Where: The Wellness Rooms, The Manor, Main Street, Tur Langton, LE8 0PJ.
When: Thursdays 9am-4.30pm.
Cost: £40 per treatment or £175 for 5 treatments (saving £25).
