I knew I needed to do XYZ to get myself out of this position.

The issue wasn't knowledge, it was the action.

That first push to start tracking my nutrition, to start weighing myself and to stop letting my emotions dictate everything I ate.

That's the hardest part right there. It's the proverbial 'parked car'.

A parked car is 80-90% harder to push than one that's already started moving. 

It takes 80-90% less energy to move a Ford Fiesta moving at 1mph vs a stationary ford fiesta.

You're a static car and I've got some jump leads.

Starting May 7th I'm running an 8 week fat loss programme.

There are 12 spaces and 1 is for you.

It's a momentum hack. 

Get the car moving.

Catching up with this bald person used to be a regular friday occurrence. 

'Work' turned into slurping coffee and talking absolute nonsense. The sort of nonsense we thought would go really well on a podcast- so we started 'One for the Boys'.

That led us to start 'Run for the Boys' because 'Mental health' has been bastardised in recent years and the last thing we wanted was for guys to feel like 'mental health' meant sitting around in a circle holding hands, talking about how we felt. That's a turn off. I'm turned off.

We've created a space. 

A space for boys to be boys. 

To meet like minded people where we feel a sense of belonging: "These guys are alright you know".

And maybe, just maybe, if the temperature is right, the humidity is below 90 and the wind is blowing hard enough that there's a chance no-one will hear what we say... We might get the little bit off our chest that's been bothering us, but we've not been sure what to do with it.  

What am I telling you anyways? This ⬇️
