What a spectacular festive afternoon!! Ukulele Piddle always puts on an amazing show for our lovely residents. We had Christmas songs and even one from Hawaii. We all had a lovely time together enjoying the music and singing carols 🎄🌟🧡

Last week we had the incredible Zoo Lab come and visit us with some of their wonderful animals!! This time we had a snake, stick insect, tree frog, tortoise and a tarantula!! All of our residents were very brave and we learnt lots of new facts🐍🐸🕷️🧡

What a wonderful first week of December we've had!! 🎄 We've put up Christmas trees, made decorations and enjoyed each others company. We are excited for the upcoming weeks as we continue our festive celebrations 🌟🎄🧡

We had a magically festive trip to Lacock Whitehall Garden Centre🎄🌟 we had a wonderful meal together and enjoyed looking at the many decorations they have on show 🧡

What a fantastic afternoon we had when we welcomed Chloe's Mobile Farm 🫏🐑🐐 residents loved meeting the Norman the donkey and his fellow friends - 2 sheep, a naughty goat and Twinkle the pony 🐴

A few weeks ago we spent time with residents putting together shoe boxes for children across seas. We are proud to announce that we, as a home, have sent 42 boxes. 🎁

Thank you to our Housekeeper Jo for supporting the home and coming in to pack these boxes with residents. Jo works all year collecting the needed items for these boxes to spread kindness. 🧡

We welcomed the scouts to the home for Remembrance Sunday. Residents loved meeting them and sharing stories and talking about their badges. We then watched them as they paraded down to St.Marys Church in the village.

We will remember them. ❤️

We are currently fundraising for our Resident Comfort Fund! We are running a Name that Teddy game - select a name for £1 an entry and if you choose the correct name you win this beautiful bear who is looking for his next home and adventure.
The winning name will be drawn on the 22nd of November.

We are ready for Remembrance Day here at Market Lavington. Our wonderful staff have been busy the last few months knitting and crocheting poppies for our displays within the home.

The home is looking wonderful and we are all very proud ❤️

We've had a spooktacular Halloween 👻 We've done pumpkin carving, themed games, a bowl of pumpkin insides to feel while our eyes were closed and guess what it is and we had some amazing food 👻🎃

Huge thank you to all the staff that joined in and for the kitchens support in the food!!🎃👻

We had a BALL this morning!! We sang nursery rhymes we remembered from our childhood, sang songs and dances and then had enormous fun with the blow up ball. The room was full of so much laughter and joy 🧡🧡🧡
