💰£12.21 per hour (enhanced rate of £12.60 on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays)

What you'll do:
✅Provide person-centred care, including personal support, medication administration, and positive behavioural encouragement.
✅Help residents with daily living
✅Create a safe environment where everyone feels valued and respected.
✅Work closely with a dedicated team to safeguard wellbeing, promote independence, and celebrate individuality.

What we're looking for:
🔶A caring, compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others flourish.
🔶Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.
🔶Reliability, integrity, and a willingness to learn.
🔶No previous care experience needed we provide full training and ongoing support.

Our work teams have been hard at work here at the Lodge Trust. From colouring, to rug-making in craft, to composting in the gardens there is never a dull moment! 🍭Everything the craft team makes is sold in our café, making the perfect gifts for yourself or loved ones. Why don’t you pop down and have a look? 🎁

All our produce and plants are home-grown by our horticulture team 🫒, and all our products are hand-made by our talented residents!🎨 Our café is open Monday to Friday 9.30-16.00, lunches served till 14.30, drinks cakes and snacks all day. 🫖

Some exciting developments happening at The Lodge Trust... 🕺

Sensory gardens are thought-provoking spaces that include aspects that will touch all 5 of the senses; from sight to touch to taste! 🍒 Our own sensory garden has been quietly in progress, kindly funded as a tribute to one of our late residents.

We are so grateful to be able to see this garden flourish! 🌱 The groundwork has now been laid and dusted off, which means it's time for the exciting part... The decorating! 🌈

And how do we decide what goes where in this sensory garden? We all got together earlier today, and looked at ideas and designs, and all our residents chose something they wanted to decide on. 🌴From climbers to fruit, grasses to ornaments, lights, pottery, and lawns, we've got some big decisions to make! We will keep you posted our new gorgeous garden is it comes into fruition (excuse the pun!) 🪻

We at the Lodge Trust hope you could all enjoy the lovely bank holiday weekend we were blessed with! ☀️ It was a sunny one, and our residents got up to exciting things!

How was your bank holiday? 🍿 Our cafe is sadly closed during bank holidays, but now it is back open and running as normal! Remember, our cafe is open Monday - Friday from 9.30am until 4pm, serving hot food until 2.30pm, and drinks and snacks until 4pm. 🫖
