Our wish tree is filling up! ✨

We have had one wish from our resident Margaret. She has wished to be able to hold and play with a real life cat again! Margaret had a cat called Misty but sadly she died a few years ago. Margaret has a huge love for cats and we want to make her wish come true! 🧚‍♀️

That’s where we need your help! Is there anyone in our community who has a lovely cat that can visit us for Margaret to have a cuddle with? If you do please get in touch as we would love to make her wish come true🥰

Today is World Book Day! 🌍📖

As you may have seen we are advertising for a Housekeeper/Activity Coordinator position however we have another NEW job opportunity to join the care team!

This position will be a 24 hour contract and flexibility on this is also available to discuss upon interview!

We are a friendly team with lots of experience between us and we would love it if you could come along and join us!

We are looking for:

✨ Someone who has had experience working with dementia and the elderly however this is not essential as training on the job is offered🙂

✨ Someone who has a good understanding of the world of dementia 🌎

✨ Someone with a great sense of humour and a friendly face 😃

✨ Someone who works well in a team and also on their own 👥

✨ Someone who is familiar with phone documentation of the residents daily lives📲

✨ Someone who has a good eye for detail 👁️

✨ Someone who has a good work initiative 💪🏻

And most of all someone who cares🥰

Knowing when a person with dementia should move into a care home isn’t easy, and there’s no single right time. Every situation is unique.

Sometimes the move happens because everyday tasks become harder, safety becomes a concern, or an unexpected change means more support is needed.

Whatever the reason, it’s about making sure the person gets the level of care that’s right for them.

We are having an Easter Egg Hunt with the some of the children from I Learn Nursery on the 24th March in our garden, with a surprise visitor!🐰🐣
We are super excited to be able to have the opportunity with both generations to interact on this visit!🥰

🪺We need your help!🪺

We would be so thankful for some donations of Easter eggs from our community or anything Easter related to be able to hand out as prizes for our residents and the children!🪺
