Henry Crust is the first of five swimmers from Pentaqua who will be representing the club at the British Summer Championships held at Ponds Forge.

Katie Founds competes later today, then Ethan Riches, Jenni Horn and Joe Parnell will be swimming over the next six days.

All swimmers have come a long way in the last year especially as we were still training at Woodhall Spa outdoor pool just three times a week this time last year.

As head coach I am extremely proud of these swimmers as I am with all the swimmers who didn’t quite make this event.

The future looks very bright with 23 swimmers being selected for Pentaqua's National Performance program and the current results in competition show that we will have a lot more qualify for this event next year.

Anyone looking for a friendly, supportive swimming club from learn to swim, competitive swimming & Masters (for adults), then look no further!

We are holding an open day for swimmers who might like to move from learn to swim or leisure based swimming who want to become more competitive.

Trials are for under 18s

Any adults looking to join just get in touch and we will arrange a trial or even look around at a Masters session.

Helping someone to do something they couldn't before, perhaps something they didn't even BELIEVE they could do, and knowing you helped them get there, is an amazing feeling.⁣
