Today’s routine staff fire drill turned into a bit of excitement when it prompted an unexpected visit from the fire brigade! 🚒✨

The sirens and flashing lights certainly caught the attention of some of our residents, so our Wellbeing Coordinator, Trudy, went to investigate. She soon returned with two very friendly firefighters who kindly came in to say hello and spend a few moments with everyone.

A big thank you to Marlborough Fire Station for attending so promptly, despite it being a false alarm, and for taking the time to meet some of our residents—it really made their day! 😊

🎉🎶 Happy Birthday, Elton John! 🎶🎉

Last week, the residents at Froxfield had a fantastic day celebrating in true Elton style! 🕶️✨ From decorating fabulous Elton-inspired sunglasses to testing our knowledge with a fun quiz full of Elton facts, the day was full of smiles and sparkle.

We were treated to a wonderful sing-along around the piano with our very own “Elton,” and the atmosphere was made even more special with staff joining in the fun by dressing up! 🎹🎤

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so memorable — your energy and enthusiasm truly made it a celebration to remember! 💛

Sunshine, smiles, and a little mischief in the garden today ☀️🌿

Our residents made the most of the fresh air with cold drinks, plenty of laughter, and lovely chats about the nature around us. We even had a special guest—Rolo joined us say to say hello and quickly stole the show with a joyful run around the garden.
