Damage to Staff Vehicle – Friday 27th February 2026

A staff vehicle in our car park sustained damage on Friday. The other vehicle involved appears to have also incurred significant damage.

If anyone has any information, or if the person involved wishes to notify us so the matter can be resolved, please contact the surgery.

A reminder that our car park is for staff use only, except for the designated Blue Badge spaces, which remain available for patients who require them.

Welcome to Our New GPs!

We are excited to share some great news – three fantastic doctors have recently joined our practice:

Dr Mary Woodward and Dr Harriet Plumridge, who joined us in October
Dr Tom Mercer, who joined us in December
Having these new GPs on board means we can offer you even better access to care. Some patients may be allocated to one of our new doctors, which could mean a change to the GP you are currently registered with.

This is all part of our commitment to improving your experience and reducing waiting times for routine GP appointments. We are confident this will make it easier for you to get the care you need, when you need it.

We have been advised by Thames Water of a road closure that may affect access to the Surgery.

George Lane will be closed from Salisbury Road end between Friday 24th October and Sunday 2nd November.

If you have an appointment during this period, please allow extra time for your journey, as other roadworks in the area may also cause delays.

On a more positive note, our outreach initiative in partnership with East Kennet Primary Care Network received some BBC attention and was welcomed by our 'canal'faring neighbours. You may recognise some of our staff who spent a couple of hours speaking to members of the boating community about how they might access GP services.

Kennet and Avon NHS staff hold a drop in session for those who struggle to get to GP surgeries.

The Gazette and Herald have run a press release relating to another morning of disruptions, this time across both Pewsey and Marlborough and in fact the wide GP network.

I can confirm that our systems are now fully restored at KAMP.

Earlier this morning however, we did have limited access to our clinical systems which meant that we were restricted in some of our activities e.g. prescribing. We were able to continue with appointments and hopefully many of our patients will not have been affected.

A major IT incident has wiped out systems for doctors surgeries across Wiltshire and Somerset

Power has now been restored at Marlborough Surgery following a power cut across town, we are catching up with our day and seeing anyone who may have attended the surgery. If you have not heard from one of the team please call to check about rescheduling a missed appointment . Afternoon appointments are proceeding as planned.
