We are always delighted to welcome the wonderful children from Marlborough St Mary's Primary School, and this time for a reading session with our residents.

Intergenerational activities like these are so important - they help build understanding, spark meaningful conversations, and create friendships that cross generations. Our residents love the energy and curiosity the children bring, and the children gain a unique sense of connection, confidence, and empathy from spending time with older adults.

We’re excited to share that yet another bedroom in our Residential Dementia Household has now been fully refurbished — and it’s looking absolutely wonderful!

This latest room has something truly special… a double-aspect view overlooking both our lovely garden and the picturesque town of Marlborough.

The natural light and calming outlook make the space feel even more peaceful and inviting. The Care Home Interiors Company have once again worked their magic with thoughtful décor, cosy textures, and carefully chosen furniture to create a warm and homely environment our residents can really enjoy. 🌿🏡

Our garden isn’t just for sunny days - it’s a space we treasure throughout the whole year. And even with all the recent rainy days, we haven’t let the weather stop us!

Getting our steps in, keeping active, and enjoying fresh air are all so important to our wellbeing - so we simply pop on our coats, grab our umbrellas, and head out for a refreshing walk. Because rain or shine, our garden is made to be enjoyed. 🌧️✨

Recently, some of our wonderful residents - including several of our cherished veterans - enjoyed a day out at the Army Flying Museum.

From exploring historic aircraft to hearing stories of Army aviation through the decades, our residents had an amazing time reminiscing, learning, and sharing their own memories of service.

Outings like this reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting those who have served, and they form an important part of our journey as we work towards becoming a Veteran Friendly Care Home.
