As part of Neha Deol has given a few tips to help you out.

"If you notice bladder/urinary related urgency, try these strategies to buy you time to get to the toilet. You will need to find the underlying cause and find out why it is happening.

1) Freeze and breathe - relaxes tight areas, including the pelvic floor muscles.

2) Calf Raises – Your calf shares the same nerve root as pelvic floor and can change your focus to give you time.

3) Pelvic floor contractions – if you don’t have pelvic pain you can try this. Contractions utilise the inverse relationship with the bladder. When the pelvic floor relaxes there is less urgency.

4) Avoid running to the toilet. Sit down if you can to support the perineum and diminish stress
5) Check your water intake – dehydration can irritate your bladder and cause urgency."
