Starting Reception Events for families with 0 to 5 year olds

Your child’s journey to school starts at home!

No matter your child’s age, there is lots you can do to build their confidence and independence. This event helps them (and you) feel emotionally and practically prepared by the time they start school.

Come along to one of our free pop-up events where you can:

- Speak directly to early years and health professionals
- Explore ways to promote child’s development and learning
- Learn more about the skills children need to start school

Starting in May 2026. The Nurturing Programme is our ‘cognitive-relational programme’ giving you new listening and communicating skills to use with your 7 to 11-year-old.

We have puzzles to support cognitive abilities, improving fine motor skills and building patience as well as a variety of messy activities to appeal to all senses.
