Did anyone catch the news last week saying the hottest place in the UK on Wednesday was 18°C at Kew Gardens? Well… how lucky were we to be there to enjoy it! ☀️🌿

While we were there, we visited the Orchid Festival, celebrating its 30th year, with stunning flower displays inspired by China. 🌸 It was absolutely beautiful.

We made the most of the day with a lovely picnic lunch, a walk along the treetop walkway, a stroll around the lake, and a visit to the Palm House before heading home.

Such a lovely day out and a perfect way to enjoy the sunshine! 😊

Delighted to be joined by the team from Windsor Auctions, Harry Ballin and LuLu for another enlightening afternoon of entertainment, intrigue, education and for some, wonderful surprises when presenting their antiques. We welcomed those in the community, residents, their families and staff too, lots to enjoy including a lovely afternoon tea with the compliments of Cliveden Manor. Our residents were absolutely delighted to meet Dobby, Ash and Norman, what characters they are! 🦉

Sadie’s experience, patience and expertise are truly second to none. She took the time to gently introduce the animals to each resident, sharing fascinating and informative facts along the way and encouraging everyone to get involved. The smiles (and laughter!) said it all.

What a hoot it was! 🥰

🚐✨ We’ve recently been the lucky recipients of a brand new minibus and on her maiden voyage we headed out to the fantastic RAF Museum in Hendon!

We managed to dodge the showers between hangars and still enjoyed a brilliant day out. Jak loved reminiscing about his training days flying the Provost and shared some fascinating facts about Messerschmitt aircraft along the way.

A fab museum with so much to see and do highly recommended! ✈️😊

🎈What an amazing week of birthdays we had! Following the excitement of Sid’s 100th on Sunday, we were treated to a trio of wonderful celebrations. Our very own celebrity Paddy turned 95 on Monday, Maggie celebrated 91 incredible years on Tuesday, and Christine marked her 86th on Saturday with family and friends.
Many happy returns to all three of you, it’s been a joy celebrating with you! 🎂✨
