⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Google Review: Tilly - "Signing up to hypnotherapy with Michelle was the best decision I made this year. I initially came to Michelle cause I was having problems with my sleep. I was hoping we could fix that with a few acupuncture sessions. But after chatting to Michelle and answering a few of her questions, she told me she thought while acupuncture could help, hypnotherapy would be much more beneficial for me. It definitely was beneficial, it didn’t just help my sleep it helped me in so many other areas of my life I didn’t expect.

I was honestly so sceptical at first because I didn’t really understand what hypnotherapy was exactly and didn’t understand how it would help. I was pretty willing to try it ‘cause I’d done normal therapy and felt like I understood myself pretty well but I wanted a step up from that that didn’t just involve me yapping away about my problems. Even though I do like yapping, I don’t always find it that helpful.

Anyway, hypnotherapy really helped me. The anxiety I had around my sleep melted away and I now feel rested everyday. I feel confident in a way I never really have before and I’m so much more secure in myself and in my life.

When I met Michelle I was just starting a business, just getting set up and not really sure if it was going to work, not feeling that confident in myself and feeing quite overwhelmed. Over the course of the sessions I began to feel so much more self assured and when my hypnotherapy course finished I had more clients than I could manage myself.

I was a little bit hesitant to go for the full course because I didn’t know if it would have the outcome I wanted. But I decided to just go for it, and I’m so glad I did 😊 it’s not a life changing amount of money but it had a life changing outcome.

I’m delighted to be presenting at the RCCM Conference today. Are you joining?

I will be sharing my clinical research from a multi-modal pilot study investigating the integration of NADA auricular acupuncture with clinical hypnotherapy for patients with diagnosed clinical anxiety disorders.

The study examines the potential synergistic effects of combining these two interventions, with preliminary findings indicating measurable benefits in symptom reduction and overall treatment outcomes.

This research contributes to the growing evidence base for integrative, multi-modal approaches in mental health care and highlights opportunities for further controlled trials.

I am so looking forward to engaging with colleagues on the implications for clinical practice and future research pathways.

This is the first in our Supporting Young People’s Mental Health & Wellbeing Series, curated and hosted by Michelle Hammond, Chair of TRAIN Youth Wallingford, and Multi-Award Winning Transformational Talk Therapist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner based at The Lodge, 51A High Street, Wallingford.

Why attend?
This session offers fresh insights into the mental health and wellbeing of children and teenagers through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Inspired by Rebecca Avern’s work, you’ll gain practical knowledge to better understand the emotional and physical needs of young people – whether you’re a parent, teacher, or someone supporting them in the community.

Together, we’ll explore how ancient wisdom can shed new light on issues like anxiety, low mood, and neurodiverse needs, helping us to respond with greater compassion, clarity, and effectiveness. Attendees will leave with ideas and strategies they can immediately begin to apply in everyday life and practice.
