Hello, I'm Alice from Hippopot and it has been a while since I have introduced myself.

I'm a qualified Medical Herbalist (BSc Hons, University of Westminster) with over 35 years’ experience in holistic therapies, including:
• Aromatherapy
• Reflexology
• Massage therapy
• Beauty therapy
• Traditional Medicine (University of Zimbabwe)
• Neurodiverse coaching (University of Leicester)

I am a member of both the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) and the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP).

My love of herbs began in my childhood in Francungo, Mozambique, and has grown into a lifelong commitment to helping others through safe, professional, and personalised herbal remedies.

Alice will be out and about this weekend at the OH SHALA Community Festival, taking place 25–27 July at The Big Park, Penn, Buckinghamshire.

She’ll be giving talks on both Saturday and Sunday, sharing her passion for herbalism. Expect to explore the rich history of herbal medicine, discover research into its effectiveness, and learn about several useful herbs - especially those you might find in your own garden or growing wild nearby.
