Unfortunately it’s bad news for Saturday 31st January as we need to cancel again. The river is higher than this time last week and a lot of rain fell last night so it will rise further.

Get those fingers crossed for the following week.

Event Cancelled - 24th January.

The course is still underwater and with the current heavy rain it’s not going to clear and will probably be worse by the weekend.

The forecast is better next week but it will take some time to clear so we’ll update next week about the event on the 31st.

There are lots of other local events to visit just double that they are still on.

Things are still rather wet here. The flooding seems to be have peaked but there is more rain on the way over the next 36 hours. We are rather doubtful for Saturday.

Unfortunately we are having to cancel tomorrows (17th January) event. The river has flooded the course today. The river is continuing to rise so we’ll update you next week about the 24th.

***we have missed the snow. So you can assume subject to course check we are on. We’ll only update if a problem arises. It will be chilly by the look of it***

With the current weather warnings out for snow, rain, wind and everything else miserable please keep an eye on our page and parkrun cancellations.

With the current forecast we’re expecting a decision to be made on Saturday morning at our normal course check. We’ll aim to update either way at 8am.

In the meantime anyone who posts the best parkrun run related snowman below can win a free entry to our event!
