Great post by local, best selling author & nutritionist Jenny Tschiesche about the importance of diet in helping prevent osteoporosis as we get older.
Combining this with weight-bearing exercise has been found to help prevent osteoporosis.
Why is this important?
As we age, our bones can weaken. We’re also more at risk of falls, which can lead to fractures (a fracture is a broken bone), increasing the risk of complications.
