Please note we will be closed for regular clinical action this afternoon (Tuesday 14 April) from 1pm for Protected Learning Time (PLT).

Our doors will be open but only for the RSV clinic we are running with pre-booked appointments. There will be no other clinical appointments available.

All calls will be automatically redirected to the Out of Hours service or you can ring 111 directly for advice.

All GP practices in England, in line with NHS protocol, close for one afternoon per month for Protected Learning Time (PLT). PLT provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn about new clinical developments, updates to national guidance, and best practice whilst also sharing their own experience and knowledge with their peers.

If you are registered for online services medications can still be ordered by the NHS App.

Our Klinik patient system will be available from 8am the day after PLT via our website: https://www.marlowdoctors.co.uk/ . Click on the start now button underneath the Marlow Doctors banner.

For a list of all our PLT dates, when the practice is closed for the afternoon, please see our website: https://www.marlowdoctors.co.uk/about-us/plt/

Protected learning time (PLT) for GP surgeries has been available for a number of years, nationally. During PLT days the practice will be closed from 1pm. Morning appointments will act as normal.

Do you want to have a say in what happens with the practice and how we can continue to work with our local community? Maybe consider our new Patient Voice Group (PVG).

The Patient Voice Group exists for patients from a variety of backgrounds to be able to communicate with the practice about initiatives and ideas they might have to help provide our service to the entire community. The group will meet quarterly along with practice staff in order for the practice to continue offering fair and equal care to all of our patients and to present recommendations on how we can continue to serve the community best.

For more information and to apply to join please see this page on our website - https://www.marlowdoctors.co.uk/about-us/patient-voice-group/

If you do wish to join then please also inform us when would work for you for the PVG's first meeting - https://bit.ly/4sN49bL

The Patient Voice Group (PVG) is a structured forum designed to ensure that patient experience directly informs how services are planned, delivered and improved across the Marlow Medical Group.
