What is somatic practice? 🌙

In yoga, we’re not just moving the body -
we’re listening to it. 🌟

Somatic practice is an invitation to feel from within. 💫

To notice breath, sensation, and the more subtle layers of experience that are often missed when we’re busy ‘doing’.

There’s no “perfect shape” here.

Instead gently returning to your own body, in your own time.

And from that place, something begins to shift…

🌲 the nervous system softens,
👣 the body unwinds,
🌟 energy returns.

It’s subtle, but deeply transformative across a multitude of layers. 🤍

With every class you’ll be invited into somatic practice forming a beautiful, playful route from which to explore yoga postures, breathwork, meditation and deep rest.

I went out to teach my Friday morning class a few months ago and I was leaving said he was going to enjoy his Friday quiet space that morning at home.

And that’s exactly what I offer on Fridays in Marple - A quiet space for you to move, relax and deepen your self awareness.

It’s a gentle class where we often start on the ground with some somatic movement before rising gradually to explore more expansive postures. The idea being to prepare body and mind for breathing practices and meditation. I’ve been teaching this class now for almost 2 years and it’s a beautiful, quiet way to wind down ready for the weekend.

So, if you’d like to join me head to the link in my bio ⬆️ to book on.

Taking a short pause from teaching over Easter… but wanted to leave you with something 🤍

I’ve shared a free 10-minute practice - a chance to move, breathe, and reconnect in your own time. This is part of the taster sessions I recorded for Evolve Your Practice, Evolve Your Teaching - and wanted to share it more widely here with you!

We explore Downward Facing Dog from the ground up, beginning with the feet and gently building the posture from there. No forcing, no rushing - just an invitation to move with awareness and ease.

It’s taken from a course I’m currently teaching to yoga teachers, and felt like a lovely one to open up and share.

Evolve Your Practice, Evolve Your Teaching

To evolve your practice is to listen, to notice, to respond… and to keep playing.

And then—there’s always something more.
Something else to explore, to question, to return to within yourself.

This course is an invitation into that space.

A thoughtful and practical experience for yoga teachers who want to reconnect with their practice and purpose, build confidence, and expand their teaching toolkit.

I’m feeling deeply grateful for the support I’ve received from and . This really does feel like a new beginning for me as a yoga practitioner—one I’m still stepping into—and I’m excited (and curious) to see how it continues to evolve.

We begin Saturday 28th March
📍 Space at the Mill, Manchester

It’s not too late to join us.

Spent a beautiful weekend with at the weekend with Spring in full swing.

Somatic practices. Time in nature. Wholesome food. New friendships. Stargazing.

I felt far removed from my day to day life. This was just the reset I was looking for.

And the best bit…sharing the experience and practising alongside my longest-standing yogi friend - always a joy and so much to explore! Thank you for joining me on this little adventure!

Evolve Your Practice, Evolve Your Teaching ✨

This course has grown out of something real - the conversations, questions, and honesty that I’ve had with yoga teachers, coaches and wellness practitioners.

It’s become a space for yoga teachers who want to keep evolving, not just in what they teach, but in how they show up.

We’ll explore practice in a way that feels sustainable and meaningful, while also opening up space to reflect on teaching - the challenges, the doubts, and the moments that shape us.

At the heart of it is community. 🫂

A group of teachers coming together to share, collaborate, support, and hold each other accountable. ✨

There’s something powerful about not doing this work alone - about hearing “me too” and finding new ways forward together.

We begin this Saturday in Manchester, and it’s not too late to join us.

Booking link in bio - I’d love to have you there.
