20 years and 4 months… and officially the best cat we’ve ever had. 🐱

Our sweet girl told us she was ready. And even though we knew this day would one day come, it still hurts so much when it finally arrives. 💔

Our OG Queen — from a 5-week-old pocket rocket to the sweetest old lady (who could still jump onto the bed until last night). She’s seen us through 4 homes, our engagement, our marriage, new businesses, and the arrival of 3 younger siblings. She was the cat who performed every trick perfectly, growled at the postman and window cleaner, and played nurse through many a night of sickness.

Despite being resuscitated at birth, living with a heart murmur, and always being seen as ‘the kitten’ of our brood, she was the fiercest little female we’ve ever known — right up until her last breath, she fought to close her eyes on her own terms.

We will be forever grateful for the epic memories, the lessons, and the unconditional love she gave us every single day.

As we said goodbye, the clouds parted, the sun broke through, and a rainbow appeared. 🌈
The universe sending a sign from our Queen — letting us know she made it safely home. 🤍

Season of Release | .pollardyoga 🍂

As the Earth shifts from summer’s warmth and vibrancy into autumn’s slower rhythm, nature begins to gather, harvest, and gently prepare for rest — and we’re invited to do the same.

This is a time for reflection. Not “What did I achieve?” or “What’s next?” but simply:
~ What have I lived through lately?
~ What have I noticed, learned, or become?
~ Who am I now, with the wisdom I hold?

There’s no judgement here — just honest noticing.

And then, gently, ask yourself: What am I ready to release? 🍁
Look to the trees for guidance. They don’t rush to reattach their fallen leaves. They don’t cling. They simply trust the process — letting go to make space for new life, new beginnings, new growth.

Notice what you might be holding onto — stories, habits, expectations — that no longer serve you. Honour what they’ve taught you, then lovingly release them.

In this season of letting go, may we trust that every ending is an opening. 🍂

We all struggle sometimes.
And we’re no exception.

This year has tested us in more ways than we ever imagined — personally and professionally.
There have been moments of anxiety, exhaustion and overwhelm.
Moments where we’ve questioned everything, and wondered how to keep holding it all together.
And truthfully… it’s not quietening down just yet.

But here’s what we do know — movement, breath and community have carried us through every storm.
They’re what keep us grounded, connected, and able to keep showing up — for ourselves, and for you.

Today is World Mental Health Day — a reminder that movement, breath and connection are powerful tools for healing. Research shows that mindful movement, like yoga and Pilates, can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, improve sleep, and increase feelings of calm and confidence.

But we don’t need research to tell us what we already witness every day — how a class can shift your mood, steady your breath, and help you feel more you again.

At Sass, we believe in creating spaces that support the whole person — mind, body and heart.
And this month, we want to make that support more accessible.
