Envy Salon Marske In 2014 I felt that I needed a new direction, which lead me to start my VTCT course in Nail Technology.

Indian head massage, lava shells, pregnancy, Swedish & deep tissue After qualifying, I opened Envy Salon and realised there as there was so much more I wanted to learn, so I qualified in Beauty, then Complementar

y Therapies, which was all about massages, Reiki and reflexology. In 2016 I rented a room as a salon in Marske later qualifying in Hairdressing and Hair Extensions, and have been happy there ever since.

My client today hadn’t had a haircut in over a year, but wanted his curls shaped and defined into a newer style so came for his first ever official Curly Cut.

By cutting each curl individually, I was able to ensure each spiral had any split ends removed, ensuring it will grow healthily from the roots without splitting further up.

I then broke the curls up and cut in the perimeter style. Doing it this way ensures that even if you’re caught in the wind and your hair blows all over, it will always lay back down into its proper shape.

I finished with a wash, a selection of specially chosen styling products, and diffused it dry to complete the service.

When you’ve tried to lift out black box dye yourself and your hair now resembles a calico cat it’s time to ask for help! 😂
My lovely client was in the chair for almost 8 hours whilst I evened out her patchy canvas and was able to then deposit this stunning copper colour to her hair.
Stay posted as we will be fitting her extensions in a few weeks and you will see her second transformation then.

The top photos were also after a Curly Cut when she tried somewhere new.

It never bothers me when a client tries another Curly Hairdresser because I only ever know when I see them back in my chair with the results.
The fact that they come back to me and they leave with the results they do says more in a picture than words ever could.

Curly Cuts are for everyone.
This young man came in for a haircut with a style in mind and was delighted with how his curls had popped, with the right cut.
