These are really common eating habits, but did you know they could be negatively impacting your health much more than you think? 🤔 👇

🍽 Skipping meals can lead to low energy, irritability, and strong cravings. You will probably eat more at your next meal, or snack more on high calorie foods!
Simple change: Focus on regular meals that satisfy you, and provide nourishment.

💭 Emotional eating offers temporary comfort, but emotional needs may remain unmet.
Simple Reframe: “Food can comfort and my emotions deserve care too.”

⏱ Eating too fast makes it easier to miss fullness cues and feel discomfort.
Simple change: Focus on slowing down eating by reducing distractions while eating, such as tv, phones or tablets.

⚖️ Labeling foods as “good” or “bad” can create guilt, restriction, and cravings.
Simple reframe: “Balance matters more than perfection.”

🔁 Constant dieting often increases food obsession and weight cycling. Diets often don’t work because they’re restrictive, unsustainable, and lead to cycles of overeating and guilt.
Simple reframe: “Sustainable habits last longer.”

🧠 Ignoring hunger and fullness disconnects you from your body’s signals.
Simple change: Allow yourself to feel hungry, and become aware of what that feels like for you. Slow down and tune into your body, and ask yourself “How hungry do I feel on a scale of 1-10?” “How full do I feel on a scale of 1-10?”

📱 Mindless eating can reduce enjoyment and lead to overeating.
Simple reframe: “Presence increases pleasure.”

Protein isn’t a magic number you have to hit perfectly every day.

The truth is, it doesn’t have to be about tracking, restricting, or forcing “high-protein” everything.
Eating protein is about supporting your body 💛

💭 So how much protein do we actually need?

✅Enough to help you feel:
👍🏼satisfied after meals
👍🏼steady in your energy
👍🏼supported in daily movement
👍🏼less “snacky” and more nourished
👍🏼Not stuffed. Not stressed.

✨ Gentle guideline (not a rule):
Most adults do well with roughly 0.8–1.2 g per kg of body weight but you do not need to calculate this to be healthy.

👉 Include a source of protein at most meals and snacks.
That’s it. No counting required.
🥚 🍗 🫘 🧀 🥜 🐟
Eggs, dairy, beans, lentils, tofu, fish, meat, nuts all count.

No “good” or “bad” proteins here.

✨ What ‘enough’ often feels like:
❤️ you stay full longer
❤️ you’re not constantly thinking about food
❤️ energy feels more stable
❤️ meals feel grounding, not chaotic

✨ And about weight…
Protein isn’t there to shrink your body or suppress hunger.
It’s there to help your body function well whatever your weight does.

✨ Reminder:
You don’t need protein shakes.
You don’t need perfection.
Some days will be higher, some lower.

💛 Protein is support
Eat in ways you enjoy. Trust your body more than a calculator.

I’ll start my diet tomorrow” is the lie that’s keeping you exactly where you are.

Tomorrow isn’t motivation.
It’s avoidance.

Every time you say it, you choose comfort over change.

You’re not waiting for the right time you’re waiting for discomfort to magically disappear….It won’t.

The truth?
There will always be a reason not to start:
• a birthday
• a weekend
• a stressful day
• a craving
• a bad mood

And if you only start when life is perfect…
you’ll never start.

Progress doesn’t come from big promises.

It comes from small actions done now, even when you don’t feel ready.

Not next week.
Not Monday.
Not “after this last meal.”
Now.

Because every “tomorrow” is a vote for the same body, the same habits, the same excuses.

One choice today changes the direction.
One delay keeps you stuck.

No calorie counting, no “good vs bad” foods, no pressure to change your body. We focus on health, nourishment, and wellbeing without centering weight or restriction.
