These are really common eating habits, but did you know they could be negatively impacting your health much more than you think? 🤔 👇
🍽 Skipping meals can lead to low energy, irritability, and strong cravings. You will probably eat more at your next meal, or snack more on high calorie foods!
Simple change: Focus on regular meals that satisfy you, and provide nourishment.
💭 Emotional eating offers temporary comfort, but emotional needs may remain unmet.
Simple Reframe: “Food can comfort and my emotions deserve care too.”

Simple change: Focus on slowing down eating by reducing distractions while eating, such as tv, phones or tablets.

Simple reframe: “Balance matters more than perfection.”
🔁 Constant dieting often increases food obsession and weight cycling. Diets often don’t work because they’re restrictive, unsustainable, and lead to cycles of overeating and guilt.
Simple reframe: “Sustainable habits last longer.”
🧠 Ignoring hunger and fullness disconnects you from your body’s signals.
Simple change: Allow yourself to feel hungry, and become aware of what that feels like for you. Slow down and tune into your body, and ask yourself “How hungry do I feel on a scale of 1-10?” “How full do I feel on a scale of 1-10?”
📱 Mindless eating can reduce enjoyment and lead to overeating.
Simple reframe: “Presence increases pleasure.”
