It's easy to lose sight of the true historical intention behind Halloween amongst all the sweets and green face paint, BUT...

Samhain acts as a sort of Pagan New Year's Eve, marking and celebrating the completion of the final harvest of the year, before nature enters its winter dormancy, resting up to begin anew in the Spring.

It is also the time of year where the veil between this life and what lies beyond is at its thinnest and Samhain is traditionally celebrated by honouring our ancestors and lost loved ones.

So, set an extra place at your table or pour an extra glass for someone who is no longer with us tonight and celebrate nature's bounty 🖤🖤🖤

🌱 PASSIONFLOWER & VALERIAN - Sleep Tincture - The herbal equivalent of a frying pan to the back of the head

🌱 YARROW - Natural relief from aches, pains and fever associated with colds, flu and other viruses. Also acts as a digestive bitter.

These will be priced at £12 for 30ml

Things have been difficult here of late, but this time of year is all about stepping out of the darkness and celebrating the beauty and reawakening of nature and I can't help but feel an infusion of positivity.
