WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚
Some days I hold space for others so deeply that I forget to leave any for myself.
Running a business, raising a family solo, keeping up with life, all while my body shifts through the tides of menopause, and my mind dances between clarity and chaos with ADHD and anxiety in tow.
It’s humbling.
It’s messy.
It’s real.
There are mornings I wake with purpose and fire, and others where even breathing feels like work.
And somewhere between those two versions of me, I’m learning to soften.
To stop fighting my cycles, my hormones, my wiring, and instead listen to what they’re trying to teach me.
✨ That stillness is sacred.
✨ That slowing down isn’t losing momentum, it’s remembering who I am beneath the noise.
✨ That even those who hold space for others need to sit in their own shadows sometimes.
I truly love what I do.
I’ve always been a people person, someone who wants to lighten the mental and physical load of others.
But I’ve realised I’m so much better at that when I’m mentally chilled, grounded, and present within myself first.
Running a wellness business doesn’t make me immune to burnout, it just makes me more aware of how much we all need gentleness, compassion, and truth.
Because we are all so much better equipped to deal with life when we do the inner work to stay mentally strong, emotionally aware, and resilient.
We can’t always rely on others to lift us.
We have to become our own biggest cheerleader.
And in business, it can be lonely.
You lose people you thought were your friends when you start to grow, when your light shifts, when your energy changes.
But that’s OK.
Because not everyone is meant to walk with you into your next chapter.
So if you’ve been feeling stretched thin, scattered, unseen,
Please know, you’re not alone in it.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
And if you’ve been wrestling with that quiet battle the hustle with your own worthiness may today remind you that you’ve always been enough, even before you achieved, healed, or grew.
Today, on World Mental Health Day, I’m honouring every woman who keeps showing up, even when her mind is loud, her body is tired, and her heart is learning to trust herself again.
Let’s be kinder.
Let’s rest without guilt.
Let’s remind each other that healing doesn’t mean perfection, it means returning, again and again, to love. Especially self love
