Gratitude is a powerful practice that helps us to access feel good neurochemicals such as serotonin....

During the winter months when sunlight is reduced and worries can increase this practice brings an increase in feelings that ,make us feel more in balance, reduced stress and increase overall wellbeing...

To enable us to get the full benefit of this practice, asking ourselves "Why?" we are grateful for something ensures we are fully in the mindset of gratitude...

Some days can feel harder to find things to be grateful for.... however when we allow ourselves to pause, and focus on this practice we can begin to find even the smallest thing can sew a seed of gratitude...

Consistency is key to feeling long term benefits...just one moment of gratitude each day can have a big impact..

What do you feel grateful for today? :)

When anxiety, worry and fear visit us during the winter months we can become locked in the room of thought, unable to be present, to notice or feel our present moment experiences....

We can become stuck in a cycle of future projection or past rumination, both of which can cause our bodies to respond with uncomfortable feelings...

Connecting to our sesses is one of the fastest and most helpful ways to take ourselves out of the room of thought and into the hear and now..

We can do this anytime anywhere...

There is no right or wrong way... just noticing what you are sensing is all that is required....

Sight...
Taste...
Touch...
Smell...
Sound...

How many can you connect to today to support your wellbeing during this season? :)
