Mr Alan Saunders of Lums Hill Rise, Matlock has passed away at home aged 76 years.
Born in Loughborough, Alan was a resident locally for 50 years.
In his working life, Alan was self employed and owned Matlock Cash Registers.
Alan’s hobbies included cash registers, dancing, chairman of the Edgefold Club, Matlock darts and dominoes, bingo calling and computers.
Alan leaves his wife Irene, daughters Verna, Claire and Joan along with 5 grandchildren and one great grandson.
Alan’s funeral will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Tansley on Friday 27th March 2026 at 2pm followed by cremation at Amber Valley Crematorium.
Family flowers only please but donations if desired are for Blythe House Hospice and Cancer Research UK and may be given online at greatorexfunerals.co.uk/donations/

Mrs Frances Kirk-Fletcher of Two Dales has passed away aged 100.

A service to celebrate Frances’s life will be held at St Helen’s Church, Darley Dale on Friday 20th March 2026 at 11am followed by interment in the churchyard.

If you wish to, please wear something pink to the funeral.

TIM MILLWARD

We sadly announce that Tim died at his home in Winster, on 22nd January 2026, aged 84.
A loving brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Tim’s Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, Winster on Thursday 5th March at 11.00am prior to interment in Winster Cemetery.

Audrey passed away peacefully at The Presentation Sisters Care Centre on 28th January 2026, aged 95 years.
Beloved wife of the late Mac, much loved mum of Malcolm, Brenda, Lawrence, Raymond, June, and Tracey, and a loving nana and great nana who will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
