🌟🐄OPEN DAIRY STOCKJUDGING 🐄🌟

With only 2 days to go until our Open Grand Dairy Stockjudging we would like to take this chance to spotlight our chosen charity for this year. This event will be held in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice a charity who provide tremendous support to families across Ayrshire through difficult times. Buckets will be available on the night for any donations, big or small to support this cause. 💙💜

🍃📍🗺️Blind drop🗺️📍🍃

A couple nights ago we held our blind drop where we had 5 teams dropped off a 3 mile radius from there end point. Along the way teams collected treasures whilst making sure to take a selfie with a farm sign to document their travels. 🌟

Results were as follows:-

Well done to all teams who made it back in quick times. Thanks to the Kennedy family for hosting and our secretary and chairman for doing the BBQ. 🍗 🤩

Two Sundays ago we held our annual car treasure hunt. This was a gorgeous sunny night for our car 36 car loads who set off on the trail of clue looking for their treasures and answers.

Massive thank you to Anne Crawford and Liz Hodge for creating such a great car treasure hunt for our car loads on the night! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event as it was lovely to see so many people join us afterwards at the rugby club.

☀️🎨🐮Royal Highland Show🐮🎨☀️

Two weekends ago our members heading up to compete at the Royal Highland Show. This was a great weekend for our members taking part or just enjoying the show. ☀️

Well done to our Junior Handicrafts team of Lily Bell, Emily Kirkland, Amy Howat and Penny McSkimmy for placing 2nd! 🥈

A massive well done to our Senior Handicrafts team of Mhairi McFadzean, Karen Foster, Lauryn Hanlon, Fiona Gemmell, Alexander Mitchell, Beth Robertson and Kiki McMillan-Grant on winning this section out of so many teams 🥇🎨🌟

A special mention must go to Fiona Gemmell for winning a special prize in the decorated cake and to Karen Foster and Kiki McMillan-Grant gaining one on appearance and display. 👏🏻🎂

A massive well done must go to all the members that competed in the Stockmanship Programme! 🥼🐑🐄 A tough competition but special mentions must go to:

🥉Robbie Mitchell for being part of the junior Ayrshire C Team placing third.
🥇Fraser Sloan for being part of the winning Junior Ayrshire A team.
🏆Daniel Hodge and Harry Bell for being part of the winning team picking up the Glasgow Herald Trophy.
🥈Daniel Hodge who placed 2nd in the Stocksman of the year competition.

This success wouldn’t have been possible without all our trainers and those who have supported our members along the way so we would like to say a massive thank you! 👏🏻🌟
