🔫💦Slip and Slide💦🔫

Last night we held our slip and slide night with Kilmaurs Young Farmers at Roadinghead Farm by kind permission of the Sloan family!

It was a great night and the sun stayed shining for us ☀️ We then got some pizza to refuel once we had dried off a little!🍕

A huge thank you to the Sloans for hosting us and providing the tanker to keep the water flowing all night 💦🏄

🤩🥳RALLY WINNERS 2026🥳🤩

On Sunday we had our Post Rally Celebration bbq 🍔🥂It was great to see so many members celebrating our win of Rally 2026! 🤩🏆

It was a great day with some great food and the sun was even shining for us ☀️ definitely a day to remember 😅

A big thank you must go to Gerry and Joy Hanlon for hosting us all and to Gerry and Joy Hanlon and Karen Sloan for the excellent bbq and feeding us all 😋

On Saturday we headed along to Ayrshire Rally where various members took part in a wide range of competitions 💪🏼

A huge well done to all of our members who took part and gained us points all towards bringing the overall rally trophy home for another year!! 🥳🤩🏆

Thank you to all our members who have put in all the hard work over the last few months. It has well and truly paid off and we couldn’t be more proud of every one of you! 😅❤️ A huge thank you must also go to our club Chairman Kerr Sloan and our Secretary Lauryn Hanlon for all their hard work. We couldn’t have achieved this without you 🩵🤩

A huge well done must also go to Crossroads Young Farmers for placing 2nd and Ayr Young Farmers for placing 3rd! Well done to all the other clubs for all their wins on Saturday.

🐮BEEF DRESSING DEMO🐮

On Monday night we held our Beef Dressing Demo in conjunction with Ayr Young Farmers at Townhead Farm by kind permission of the Sloan family.

It was a great turnout with some new and older members!

A huge thank you must go to Stewart and Penny Dunlop for showing us all their tips and tricks!

It was a great night with lots of information for everyone.

🎨🖌️AYR SHOW 🪢💪🏼

On Saturday we headed along to Ayr show where we had two teams taking part in the Handicrafts competition 🎨🖌️our junior team with the theme “Fifi World Cup” and our senior team with the theme “Apres Ski” and one team taking part in the open Tug Of War competition 🪢

Well done to everyone who took part! Although neither of the handicrafts teams placed we are super proud of them for their great scores and huge efforts with the displays! 🤩 Although a massive well done must go to Amy Howat for picking up 1st prize for her floral art display in the juniors! 💐🏆 what an incredible achievement!

Also well done to our boys Tow team, although no prizes were picked up, they still did a great job! 💪🏼

🩷 Saturday sees the exciting launch of our new "pink charity trailer", making its first appearance on our stand at Ayr Show (Ayrshire Agricultural Association). The Stewart Trailers 14 tonne forage trailer will be available for hire throughout the summer and all we ask for in return is a generous donation to our chosen charity Ayrshire Cancer Support. We sadly lost our close friend and neighbour, Alison Borland, in October 2025 after her cruel battle with cancer and the charity provided an immense amount of support to Alison, George, Tommy and Rory. We'd like to give something back and to a local charity that helps so many around us in their time of need. Please give generously if you can ❤️ We'd also be delighted to accept donations at the stand on Saturday and will have our usual hospitality for customers old and new, looking forward to seeing you all then 🍻 🧁 ☕️ 🥃 🩷
