Charity Tractor and Lorry Run🚜

A week ago today, we held our tractor and lorry run in memory of Gordon ‘Burly’ Smith💙

What an incredible turn out we had of 246 tractors!!

The Smith’s chosen charity was the British Heart foundation❤️ to who we managed to raise an incredible £13,251.38 !!!

We are blown away with the support, thank you🥰

🏠Fundraising Thank Yous

On the Sunday 23rd November, Ayr Young Farmers , Kilmaurs and District Young Farmers Club and Mauchline YFC united to put on a fabulous fashion show and afternoon tea event to raise funds for 'The Big Build'.

The day was a great success, raising a brilliant total of £3149.66 for the campaign!🎉

We would like to thank all three clubs for their hard work in organising the show, providing the refreshments and of course modelling on the cat walk. 👠

Thanks to everyone who supported event including the clothing suppliers, sponsors and most importantly the audience who gave so generously on the day. We are so grateful to all our members who are coming up with so many fantastic and fun ways to support our project and also bring together our YF community. 🙌

Wow, what a turn out of tractors. After careful counting we believe we had a turn out of around 250 lorries, tractors and vans. Along with lots of spectators to wave our drivers on we want to say a massive thank you for the turnout and support for Burly’s convoy. 💙

Today’s the day, we look forward to seeing everyone to honour Burly Smith. 💙

Please remember entry money is £20 Cash only, there will also be a raffle with lots of prizes up for grabs with donations from various companies. All proceeds raised today will be going to the British Heart Foundation so any support would be greatly appreciated. 🚚🚜

Teas, coffees and burgers will be available on arrival. ☕️🍔

We will be posting our GoFundMe page later after our tractors have set off for any people who would like to donate but can’t be there. 💙

⭐️🎵AAYFC 80th Anniversary Singing Group!🎵⭐️

As part of our 80th Anniversary Celebrations we are going to create an Anniversary Singing Group to perform at this year’s Ayrshire Talent Spot competition and mark the end of our Anniversary Year!

We are looking to recruit past and present members of all Ayrshire Clubs who would be interested in being part of the Singing Group. They will perform at Ayrshire Talent Spot on Saturday 14th March, as well as at the Weat Area Talent Spot on Saturday 4th April!🌟

We are delighted to have David Watson on board to direct and play for the singing group! Practises will start on Wednesday 28th January at 7pm in Craigie Village Hall.🎤
