April has been a fantastic month from start to finish! We started the month with a lovely long and sunny weekend celebrating all things Easter - eating plenty of chocolate but also gathering together and celebrating the arrival of spring.

We kicked things off this afternoon—our very own sunflower seed growing competition is officially underway 🌻
Pots filled, seeds planted, and a bit of friendly rivalry already in the air. It’s amazing how something so small can spark so much excitement. Now comes the real test: patience, care, and a little bit of luck.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be watching closely as the first shoots break through, each one a contender reaching for the sun. Who’ll grow the tallest? The strongest? The most spectacular bloom?

We couldn't let this beautiful afternoon go to waste! Some of us took a slow stroll out to cedar farm to soak in the views, while others kept the energy high with games in the garden. With cold beers in hand and clear blue skies, it was the perfect way to spend the day together. 🌾🎯🌞

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Today we celebrated St George’s Day with a fun-filled afternoon that brought everyone together. Residents enjoyed a selection of traditional treats, including sausage rolls, freshly baked scones, and a refreshing glass of beer.
The highlight of the day was a St George’s themed quiz, where everyone joined a team and took part with great enthusiasm. There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and team spirit throughout. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We had a lovely day out in Morecambe, starting with a relaxed pub lunch before heading for a walk along the seafront. The fresh air and coastal views made it feel refreshing and calm. A highlight was seeing the Eric Morecambe statue, which added a fun and memorable touch to the day. 🌞
