Bit of a long post.
I am on day 5 of at least an 11 day water fast.
Read this book a number of years ago and found it very good.
I have often done 3 day water fasts over the years and last did an 11 day fast 12 years ago.l and was at an ideal weight but the last 5 years my weight has crept up a bit too much. Not to where I was before but too close to it.
I know what I should do and despite watching certain things and taking regular supplements I couldn’t quite get the mind-set to do even a 3 day fast that I knew would work for me.
So couple of weeks ago, I went to get a biomagnetic session (as I was curious what it was) and part of the discussions included that it only takes 3 days to stop craving for sugar things - I know that already but just needed to hear it from someone else.
After this session I then actually stopped picking up that snack or 2 at the petrol station.
A couple of days later an advert comes on my newsfeed for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)at a great price as it was the companies 1st anniversary of opening.
Fast forward to today I am typing this while getting oxygen therapy and today is my 4th consecutive 90 minute session and I had 3 x 1 hours the week before.
After 2nd HBOT, I felt such a clarity and focus and after the 3rd one I decided I was now doing an 11 day water fast as a further boost to my health.
Swimming early each morning and being careful with whirlpool bath and short sauna.
4 days fasting and 9lbs 6oz or approx 4.2kg down so far.
Feeling so much better already.
Remember 3 days and any cravings stop - it is the habit that needs to change with it.
