I have the gift of intuitively sensing energetic blockages. A compassionate approach is encouraged towards your embodiment. A yogi's way is living a life in which we get along with others. We’re generous, we’re happy for those around us, we do the right thing, and most importantly, we are kind.

Between a rock and a hard place is what sprung to my mind during my meditation practice today. Literally sitting on a rock and observing the mental processes! Socks and shoes firmly on after having accidently stood on a jelly fish. You could hear my scream the full length of Croy shore. I did say sorry.

Rather than a 'tick list', meditation is about being present and aware. It's a practice that cultivates a state of mind. By practising non judgemental observation, meditation encourages observation of your thoughts and feelings. With regular practice you can learn to shift from chaos to calm.
I felt calm meditating outside under the tree at Rozelle, even though I had one peak through my sunglasses to observe my environment. Whereas when I was at home, I fidgeted, pandiculated, scratched, sneezed, coughed, got lost in thought, and checked the time. I was 8+ minutes into my meditation before I settled. I continued to sit. I needed the practice.

When we approach each asana as a new experience we experience a new outcome.
Sometimes we feel grounded and balanced. Sometimes we don't. In our embodied yoga practice, we practice with curiosity. Cultivating curiosity helps replace judgement. By approaching with a beginners mind, and with a curious attitude we shift our focus from one of criticism to a more rewarding experience.
