A reminder of afternoon closure tomorrow.

Some GP Practices will be closed on Wednesday 18th February, Tuesday 24th February & Thursday 26th of February to carry out staff training. During these times the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service will provide urgent care and support to patients of practices which are closed.

Patients or Community Pharmacies who require to contact a participating GP Practice urgently during the time they are closed for Protected Learning Time should call the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930.

After 9 wonderful years at Maybole, the time has come for Dr Martin to hang up his stethoscope 🩺

Dr Martins last working day will be 6th March 2026.

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked alongside such amazing colleagues and to have cared for so many lovely patients over the years.

Thank you for the kindness, chats, laughs and trust you’ve given me — it’s meant more than you know.

While I’m looking forward to the next chapter (and a slower alarm clock!), I will truly miss being part of this community.

The Practice will be closed on the following afternoon from 1pm -5.30 pm for staff training.

If you require urgent medical attention which cannot wait until the following day to be seen by your GP, please telephone the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930 and a member of staff will be able to assist you.

Patient information

We would like to inform you of a small change to our prescription line opening hours.

Due to ongoing staff shortages, we previously adjusted the prescription line to close at 4:00 pm.

As this change has had no impact on patient care or access to prescriptions, we have decided to make this change permanent.

The prescription line will now close at 4:00 pm each day.

All other services and opening hours remain unchanged, and patients can continue to request prescriptions in the usual ways.
