Our service today took place at St Laurence Church as we came together to honour a much loved lady.

The music was truly beautiful a moving rendition of Ave Maria by a wonderful singer, alongside the incredible Gresley Male Voice Choir. Both performances were simply amazing and added so much to a heartfelt service.

A special thank you to our funeral director, Jenny, for her care and professionalism throughout the day.
And once again, thank you to all our team for your continued support and dedication.

So here we are at Friday once again I’m not quite sure where this week has gone!

Apologies I didn’t get around to my usual Fun Fact Monday, but normal service will resume next week.

It’s been a tough week for me, I’ll admit, but I’m only human.

As always, I want to say a huge thank you to my amazing team you truly are incredible.

I’d also like to thank the families who place their trust in me to care for their loved ones. It means more than words can say.

And finally, thank you to my wonderful community. Your continued support, especially during the more difficult moments, never goes unnoticed. I feel incredibly privileged to have such kind and supportive people around me and my business.

Have a safe and peaceful weekend

To everyone who knows me whether as a businesswoman or a friend you’ll know that everything I do in life is done with the biggest heart.

For the past 12 years at my funeral home in Measham, I have decorated my windows at Easter. It’s something I do to bring a little bit of light and kindness to the community, especially for the children who walk past and enjoy the display.

Recently someone commented on my business page asking if this was “appropriate.” I responded professionally, and I’m grateful to those who also took the time to show their support.

I have spent nearly 30 years serving families in communities I take my role as a Funeral Director incredibly seriously. I know my work inside out every “what if,” every responsibility that comes with caring for people at the most difficult times in their lives. Experience matters in my role and that’s something I do have!!

What you see with me is what you get. I don’t pretend to be something I’m not. I keep one foot in my world and one foot in the world of the families I serve.

The Easter window is simply my way of giving something back a little kindness, a smile for children and adults alike, and sometimes a few small treats along the way. That’s who I am.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me and my business.

Sally Anne.
