I had a lovely morning and afternoon at Ashgrove Nursery sharing with all the children as part of marking Children’s Mental Health week, which was last week when they were on Mid Term so we postponed until today. Thank you Ms Toale, all the staff and children who gave me such a warm welcome. Well done everyone ✨💜

Meeting had a profound impact on my life. Each time I hear him speak I am inspired in so many ways. It was fantastic to interview him twice yesterday in St Mary’s Primary School Mullaghbawn and also to be able to present him with a cheque for from Money raised both last night and at Voices For Change Event in Sept. Thank you to everyone who supported both events. Richard was unable to attend the Sept event and we agreed that we would arrange for him to come back to give those who could join us a chance to hear him speak. Whilst the setting was very different there was something very special about being in a school alongside pupils who where the same age as Richard when he was shot and blinded. It was wonderful to see both the pupils yesterday and people of all ages so engaged and inspired from all that Richard shared. Thank you to Ms Mulkerns and all at St Mary’s Mullaghbawn for their support. Thank you Serenity Moments by Adel for the photos and to Clare for her beautiful music that started off the evening. ✨
