✨ Positivity Jars at Southwell Court! ✨
Today our residents and team spent the afternoon creating Positivity Jars — each one filled with uplifting messages, happy memories, kind words, and little sparks of joy.

It was such a lovely activity, full of laughter, creativity, and plenty of positive vibes. These jars will sit around the home as daily reminders that even the smallest moments can brighten a whole day.

🧁 Muffin Magic at Southwell Court 🧁

Our residents have been busy in the kitchen today, baking up a storm and filling the home with the most amazing smells. We made a delicious selection of chocolate chip and blueberry muffins — and even created a few dairy‑free options so everyone could join in.

There was plenty of laughter, plenty of taste‑testing, and more than a few proud smiles as trays of golden muffins came out of the oven. Safe to say… they didn’t last long.

Moments like these remind us how much joy simple activities can bring. A lovely afternoon all round.

🌼 Sunday afternoons at Southwell Court hit differently — a little slower, a little softer, and full of those simple joys that make a home feel like a home.

Today was a lovely mix of everything that makes our residents smile:

🎲 Cosy board games around the table
🖍️ Relaxing colouring for a bit of calm creativity
🌸 Beautiful flower arranging that filled the lounge with colour
☕ Plenty of chats, laughter, and a warm cuppa or two

It’s the small moments of connection that make our Sundays so special.

🍻 Southwell Court Arms – Our Afternoon Pop‑Up Pub! 🎉

This afternoon we opened the doors to the Southwell Court Arms — our very own pop‑up pub right here in the home!

Residents enjoyed a fun quiz to get everyone thinking, followed by some relaxed board games, plenty of chatter, and lots of smiles. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon together, bringing that warm community feel right into Southwell Court.

A sweet afternoon at Southwell Court
Our residents rolled up their sleeves today and got busy in the kitchen, baking the most delicious fruit scones. The lounge smelled absolutely amazing, and there were plenty of smiles (and taste‑testing!) along the way.

It’s these simple, shared moments that make the home feel extra special — good company, warm chatter, and fresh scones straight from the oven.

It was a beautiful reminder of how much we’ve shared — the milestones, the mischief, and the moments that made 2025 so special. Here’s to preserving the joy and looking forward to even more in the year ahead 💫

✨ Christmas Day at Southwell Court ✨
What a wonderful day we’ve had. This morning our residents gathered together to open their presents – a tradition we all look forward to and one that always fills the home with smiles and laughter.

We then enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner lovingly prepared by our amazing cook, Birute, who outdid herself once again.

As if that wasn’t enough festive joy, we also celebrated Jenny’s birthday today – the perfect extra sparkle on Christmas Day.

This afternoon brought even more fun with games led by Gareth and Demi, rounding off a day full of warmth, laughter, and togetherness.

A huge well done to the whole team for making today so special for our residents. Your hard work and heart never go unnoticed. ❤️🎄
