Yesterday I ran from Aldershot down to HMS Victory in Portsmouth .A distance of 47 miles. Time 11 hours ans 10 minutes. Money raised so far for Combat Stress £1900.
Started in the dark and finished in the dark.

Training day Sunday. 23 miles today slow and steady. Ultra marathon training. So a slow time of 5 hours. Hamstrings ok. Calf ok . Now my knee is playing up. 34 miles for Saturday and Sunday. Pilates and Yoga power my running.

Today 11 miles up and down hills. Looking for big hills around Cambridge not impossible but the hills aren't that big. Yesterday was a strength day. Tomorrow 20 miles planned. Ultra marathon in November to raise money for the military Veterans mental health charity Combat Stress.

Training day Wednesday. 15 miles in the bag this morning. Slow and steady. Abit wet and windy which is good. If it ain't raining it ain't training. Got home to discover my event shirt had arrived. I'm running the Race to Remember.47 miles to raise money for Combat stress.

Today's speed March TAB. 15 miles/24km in 4 hours. Up and down as many hills as I could find. Weight carried 40lbs/18kg. It was a hot one today, especially across the ope fields. I now start to ease of until the Fan Dance in a couple of weeks time.
Pilates and Yoga keep me going. Good for recovery. Good for strength.

Discipline made me do it. Didn't feel it today. Manged 10 mile TAB in 2 hrs 25 mins. Carrying 40lbs/18 kg. Happy with th...

Discipline made me do it. Didn't feel it today. Manged 10 mile TAB in 2 hrs 25 mins. Carrying 40lbs/18 kg. Happy with that. Did extra hill work as well. Weather was pretty good . Cold but sunny 🌞. No little dog, didn't want the hassle of her and other dog,people and cyclists.

After a week of snotty colds and AZ vaccination plus working on lig dominate knees today's 3 mile run was going to be a gentle affair.first mile and a half was 2nd mile and a half just got faster and faster. Nice run blown the HR training but never mind I enjoyed it.
