This afternoon we hosted our wonderful Tommy Tea Party to celebrate VE Day. We enjoyed a fantastic sing along, tested our knowledge with a VE Day quiz, shared lots of laughs and great company, and of course enjoyed some delicious cakes and refreshments. ☕🍰🎶

A huge congratulations to Zoe, our Colleague of the Month! 💐
Zoe is an absolute gem and truly deserves this recognition. She is hardworking, caring, and always has a smile on her face that brightens everyone’s day. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and she is always there to support both residents and staff.
We have no doubt that Zoe will make a fantastic Care Lead in the future. Thank you for all your dedication and positivity, Zoe — we are so lucky to have you as part of the team!

This afternoon we held our residents’ meeting, which was very well attended. There were lots of views shared and great conversations had by all, giving everyone a chance to have their voice heard.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a lovely cuppa and some cake together. Carl then had a go at a game of mini golf, which brought plenty of smiles.
Lucy, our resident cat, was also on hand to brighten everyone’s day, as always 🐾 We also took some time to check on our sunflowers, and we’re pleased to see they’re coming along nicely 🌻

This morning we got creative with bracelet making and enjoyed some relaxing, therapeutic colouring 🎨📿
This afternoon brought a bit of friendly competition with a game of target throw – well done to Mary for taking the win! 🎯

A special congratulations to Arthur and Mary, who came out on top and each claimed a prize 🏆
