Sometimes a little mix up can lead to lots of fun! 🎶💃 Our entertainment plans took a turn today, but that didn’t stop us – some of our lovely staff stepped in with a lively sing and dance session. We were treated to the Macarena and a few other favourites, which had everyone joining in with smiles and laughter.

After all the dancing, it was time to relax with a few games of bingo. A big well done to Arthur who came out the winner! 👏✨

🍂🎨 This morning at Mavern House we got creative, painting and colouring leaves to make our very own autumn wreaths – they’re looking beautiful and full of seasonal charm! 🍁✨

This afternoon was all about keeping our minds sharp with a fun quiz and a lively game of “finish the rhyme” – plenty of laughs and clever answers all round. 🧠🎤

At lunchtime today, Stuart shared some wonderful memories from his childhood with our residents – sparking plenty of smiles and stories of their own. 💭✨ This afternoon things got lively with a game of Pong 🎮 – balls flying everywhere and plenty of laughter ringing out! Maureen showed us all how it’s done with an incredible score of 670 points 🏆👏

🍕🎉 What a fun-filled day at Mavern House! This morning we designed our very own pizzas, then rolled up our sleeves this afternoon to make them fresh and delicious – and of course, we enjoyed them for tea! 😋

Whilst the pizzas were baking, we didn’t let the time go to waste – we shared a cuppa, sang along to some favourite tunes, and celebrated Rosemary’s birthday with a slice of cake 🎂🎶💐.

💪✨ This morning we got moving with our activities lead Nicky, keeping fit and having fun together! Lots of energy and smiles all round.

🎶🎤 This afternoon we slowed things down with a wonderful sing-along led by Jeannie and the Mavern Melodies. The music filled the home and brought back so many happy memories.

We had a fantastic afternoon at Mavern House with a lively and competitive game of skittles 🎳. David came out on top as our winner, but in true gentlemanly style he let his wife Brenda pick the prize 🏆. Brenda was delighted to choose some lovely hand cream 💕. A wonderful mix of fun, laughter and friendly competition!

💅🐾🎉 What a fun-filled day at Mavern House!

Our ladies were treated to a pamper session with their nails beautifully painted, which left everyone feeling glamorous and relaxed. We also had a visit from Ocean, a wonderful pet therapy dog, who brought plenty of cuddles and smiles. 🐶

Meanwhile, Lucy – our much-loved resident cat – celebrated her birthday with extra fuss and attention. 🐱🎂

Later in the day, we enjoyed a lively game of Categories with the ball. Val gave us all a good laugh when the topic was trees – she said, “I have a funny one… lavatory! ” 🌳😂

Laughter, love, and lots of little moments made it such a special day here at Mavern House 💖

🎉👏 A huge congratulations to Steve, who has been awarded a certificate in recognition of an incredible 15 years of service here at Mavern House! Thank you, Steve, for your dedication, hard work and commitment over the years – what an amazing achievement! 🌟

And a big well done to Mandy for being named Employee of the Month 🎖️. Mandy is always smiling, nothing is ever too much trouble, and she even comes in on her weekend off to help. We’re so lucky to have such a caring and positive member of the team. 💙

Well done to both Steve and Mandy – you make Mavern House a wonderful place to be! 🥳
