Talking about end of life isn’t easy, but having the right support can make all the difference.

If you’re caring for someone approaching the end of their life, you don’t have to face it alone. Join us for a free, supportive workshop led by experienced facilitator Diane Barkham, designed especially for unpaid Carers.

In the next couple of weeks we’ll begin inviting eligible patients to book their COVID-19 and flu vaccinations for the beginning of October .

📢 Need batteries for your NHS hearing aid?

We can now provide them directly at the surgery!

If you use an NHS hearing aid and need replacement batteries, just bring your RUH battery book/card with your name and MRN on it. We'll be able to give you 2 packs of batteries.

The RSV vaccination programme ends on 31 August 2025 – make sure you’re protected in time.

Who should have the RSV vaccine?

👶 Pregnant women – recommended from 28 weeks in every pregnancy to help protect your baby after birth
🎂 Adults aged 75 to 79
🎉 If you turned 80 after 1 September 2024, you're eligible too – but only until 31 August 2025

Resident doctors across BSW will walk out at 7am tomorrow for five days.

We are asking patients to help support services by choosing carefully so urgent care is available for those who need it most.

This includes using 111 online as the first port of call for non-urgent health needs and using 999 only for a life-threatening emergency.
