🌞 A beautiful sunny morning stroll with our lovely residents ❤️
We’ve been making the most of these glorious spring days, getting out in their wheelchair for some fresh air, a change of scenery, and a little adventure along the lanes.
From quiet country roads lined with hedges to pretty village streets with blossom on the trees, every outing brings a smile. We even stopped to collect some pinecones along the way – little treasures that make their eyes light up ✨
These simple moments together mean everything. Grateful for the sunshine, the company, and the chance to create new memories every day.

Today it’s known as Victory over Japan Day - or VJ Day for short - and is marked every year on 15 August. Tributes to VJ veterans from across the UK and the Commonwealth began this morning, when military bagpipers performed at Edinburgh Castle, the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and the Cenotaph in London.

We are situated in the rural village of Broughton Gifford next to the village church which is approximately 3 miles from Melksham town centre.

The Old Parsonage specialises in EMI and Dementia Nursing Care with a committed care team and a qualified Nurse on duty 24 hours a day.

With 22 well appointed rooms, you’ll soon feel right at home. Each room can be personalised and we would welcome the opportunity for you to bring your treasured mementos and small items of furniture to make it even more homely.

We have two lounges - one television lounge and one quiet lounge with background music which looks out onto the developing sensory garden giving the ethos of the outdoors inside.
