🐻 International Teddy Bear Day - 10th February 🐻
What a Bear-utiful day of celebrations we’ve had today!
We started our morning getting creative with Watercolours, as our residents painted some truly lovely pictures inspired by their favourite teddy bears 🎨 🌟
This afternoon was the pinnacle of the day, with a full Teddy Bear’s picnic that brought lots of smiles, laughter and nostalgia. We were also joined by a very special guest - Finley, the Berkley Care Bear, who was a huge hit with everyone 🧺 🐻
A wonderful day filled with creativity , cuddles and cherished moments - memories we’ll be holding onto for a long time 💕

🐉✨ Chinese New Year Celebrations at Blenheim House ✨🐉
We’re delighted to invite our residents, families, friends, and the wider community to join us at Blenheim House Care Home as we celebrate Chinese New Year – Year of the Horse 🐎
📅 17th February 2026
⏰ From 6.00pm
The evening will commence with the spectacular Dance of the Dragon, followed by delicious Chinese snacks, flowing beer, wine, and soft drinks, and a General Knowledge Quiz on everything Chinese 🇨🇳
🎉 All are welcome to attend – come along and celebrate culture, community, and fun with us!

At Blenheim House we are always excited to welcome members of the community to join us for a variety of events and experiences.

Join us for our next monthly Community Coffee Morning, Wednesday December 10th!, from 10:30am, one of our larger Celebrations, or just to pop by and have a look at what Blenheim House is all about. We welcome all members of the community to join us, providing a safe and inviting space for those who would like to make new friends, reconnect, or are just curious about what life here at Blenheim House is like.

Our next community event is our Christmas Lights Switch On, taking place on Saturday 29th November, from 4-6pm. Enjoy our beautifully festive gardens, with Calne Silver Band, The Melksham One Voice Choir, A Live Nativity, Mulled Wine & Mince Pies! There might even be a visit from Father Christmas himself!
