A critical element of any medical evacuation is the Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP). SR8 Offshore can create bespoke MERPs which clearly define the evacuation process detailing a documented chain of patient custody in addition to resources available in the area of operation, evacuation routes to specialist facilities, lines of communication, and roles and responsibilities.

SR8 Offshore’s medical personnel are supported by a medical advice and coordination service 24/7/365. The service is delivered by a team of Doctors with extensive knowledge of emergency situations and a comprehensive understanding of the hazards and risks of offshore and remote working.

In addition to providing general medical advice, the topside team has the technical competency to manage time-critical medical cases which can prevent loss of life from accidents or emergencies occurring at the worksite.
