Mental Health Awareness Week 10-16 May.

Remember to breathe!

Seems obvious, but holding the breath through movement, such as bending or reaching is very commonly seen in folk experiencing persistent pain or in life's daily stresses.

Keep it simple for starters - start to develop your awareness during day to day movements - if you feel stiff or need to force the movement there is a good chance you've held your breath.

As you start to develop your awareness it becomes easier to change if needed.

It may take a bit of gentle focus initially before your awareness and relaxing into movements become more natural.
