This poster shows the number of missed appointments at the Practice in April 2026. From the 693 appointments unattended, 198 were with a GP. This totals 50 hours of wasted GP time due to failed attendance.

Simple things to help us are:
If you can’t make or no longer need your appointment, please let us know by calling our cancellation line: 01664 503027 available 24/7.
Cancel or change your appointment on-line as an admin request from our appointments form.
Check your booked appointments in the NHS app.
Make a note in your diary / calendar of your or your family members’ appointments so you do not forget them.
Remember to tell us if you change your mobile phone number to ensure you continue to receive your appointment reminders.

And for many living with dementia, those memories of wartime — the music, the dancing in the streets, the sense of unity — still live deep within their hearts.

Sometimes, all it takes is a song, a flag, or a familiar moment… and suddenly, they’re right back there, celebrating freedom, surrounded by hope ❤️

At Timeless Connections Dementia Café, we want to honour those heroes in the most meaningful way we know how — by bringing people together, by keeping their stories alive, and by creating moments that matter.
