Black scrying mirrors are just beautiful to look at and are a fantastic divination tool.
Here are some beginner steps to take when you first start to use them.

Set the space by cleansing and darkening the room.
Position the mirror comfortably.
Ground and centre yourself.
Open the space by lighting a candle, calling in your Spirit allies, and setting an intention
Gaze, open and scry by gazing softly, without a fixed focus into the mirror.
Close the space to ensure a ritual ending to your divination work.
Journal and record the details and any information you think was relevant.

Medusa has a very misunderstood and sad story, but in short,
She was once a beautiful woman who was then assaulted by Poseidon and blamed for it by Athena.
