Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Wilton Manor! 🌸💐

We started the day the best way possible—with Buck’s Fizz and plenty of delicious cakes to celebrate all the wonderful mums in our community. 🥂🍰

Throughout the day, we asked everyone to share their favourite thing about being a mum, and it was lovely hearing so many heartfelt memories and special moments. ❤️

A huge thank you as well to our incredible staff who are working today and helping make Mother’s Day so special for everyone here. Your care and dedication mean so much. 🌷

We were so excited to welcome Cupcake from Pet a Pony to Wilton Manor! 🐴💕

The smiles on everyone’s faces say it all. We just loved spending time with Cupcake, sharing cuddles and enjoying such a special visit together. Animal visits always bring so much joy and create wonderful moments for everyone involved.

🎶 We’re proud to be hosting Leicester Musical Memory Box here at Wilton Manor! 🎶

The sessions are led by Kyle and bring together music, memories, and community. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying our very first session – our residents gained so much from sharing the experience with members of the local community.

These sessions are open to the community, and we would love to see even more people join us.

📅 When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
📍 Where: Wilton Manor

Music has a powerful way of bringing people together, sparking memories, and creating special moments. Seeing our residents connect with the wider community through music is something we’re incredibly proud of. 💙

What an absolutely incredible experience at the National Ice Centre!⛸️❄️

Christine and Jean told us that they used to go ice skating every single Saturday, and as soon as we heard that, we knew exactly what we had to do… make it happen again!💙

So we jumped in the minibus and headed off for a very special trip to the rink. Seeing the smiles, the memories coming back, and the excitement on the ice was truly priceless.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at the National Ice Centre who went above and beyond to organise everything for us. They supported us on the ice and helped create an experience none of us will ever forget.

Moments like these remind us how powerful memories and experiences can be. ✨

What an absolutely fantastic afternoon we had with Samantha Oxborough Mezzo-Soprano✨

She was truly incredible — full of energy, warmth, and talent. Everyone absolutely loved every minute, and the smiles said it all.

We’ve had such a fantastic day celebrating, complete with our very own pancake flipping competition – and yes, we captured some brilliant action shots! There were some impressive skills (and a few near misses 👀), but most importantly, lots of laughs and smiles all around.
